The short answer

What is Epitalon, and do you carry it?

Epitalon is a short synthetic peptide, and yes, we carry it. We sell it in 10mg vials, either one at a time or as a kit. For laboratory research use only.

It is a chain of four amino acids: alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and glycine. That gives the sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, which is why some sellers list it as AEDG peptide.

Our catalog spells it Epithalon. Epitalon and Epithalon are two spellings of the same compound, so a search for either one lands on the same product.

Names

Is Epitalon the same as Epithalon?

Yes. The two spellings come from how the name was written in different places. The chain is the same either way.

That matters when you compare listings. Some sellers use one spelling and some use the other, and a few list only the sequence. If you are unsure, read the sequence on the label and match it to Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly.

A listing that gives no sequence at all is harder to check. Ask the seller for it before you order.

What you get

What comes in each vial?

Each vial holds 10mg of Epitalon as a freeze-dried powder. The powder is dry and pale, and it can sit as a thin film on the glass or as a small plug at the base.

With only four amino acids in the chain, this is one of the shorter peptides on our list. A short chain is easy to describe on paper: one sequence, one expected mass.

The cap is crimped on and the vial arrives sealed. If the crimp looks loose, contact us before opening it.

Check first

What should you check before you order Epitalon?

Start with the lab report. A good one names the lab, the test date, the purity number and the mass, so you can see what was measured.

Next, read the label. It should show the full name, the size and the sequence. When you compare listings, compare the milligrams of peptide that were tested, not just the number printed on the front.

Then look at where the seller is and how they answer questions. A seller that avoids questions about sourcing or testing is telling you something.

You can see how we handle reports on our certificate page, and the full specs are on the Epithalon product page.

Reading the label

How do you read an Epitalon label?

A label is the fastest check you have. Read it before anything else when a vial arrives.

Look for the compound name, the 10mg size and the Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly sequence. Those three lines tell you the vial matches the listing you ordered from.

If the label uses the other spelling, that is fine. Epitalon and Epithalon name the same chain. What should worry you is a label with no sequence, no size or a name that does not match the order.

Keep the label and the lab report together in your records. If anything looks off, you then have both in one place when you contact the seller.

Single or kit

Should you get one vial or a kit?

One vial is enough when you are setting up a method or running a first check on the material. You can order more once the work is set.

A kit is ten 10mg vials in one order. Longer series of work tend to go through a kit, since every run then draws on the same material.

Nothing about the vial changes between the two. The count in the box is the only difference.
