Reading one
The three sections that matter at the bench
- Section 7, handling and storage
- Temperature, light, moisture. For freeze-dried powder this is where the minus 20 C storage and the warm-up-before-opening rule are stated.
- Section 8, exposure controls
- What to wear and what ventilation you need when handling the dry powder, which is when it can get into the air.
- Section 13, disposal
- How mixed solution and empty vials leave the lab.
