Terms of sale

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms govern every order placed with SB'z Industries LLC, a California limited liability company, through this site. Placing an order means you have read them and agree to them. If you do not, do not order.

2. Research use only

Every material sold on this site is supplied strictly for laboratory research. Nothing here is a drug, a food, a cosmetic or a dietary supplement. Nothing is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for any use, and nothing is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. No material may be used in or on any human or animal.

By ordering you confirm that you are purchasing for laboratory research only, that you are qualified to handle the material, and that you will not use it, resell it or supply it for any other purpose. We refuse and cancel orders where we have reason to believe otherwise, and we may refuse to supply any person or organisation at our discretion.

3. Age and eligibility

You must be 21 years of age or older to order. You must have a shipping address in the United States. We do not ship outside the United States.

4. What we supply

Materials are supplied as described on the product page: compound, size, form and storage condition. Each compound is tested by an independent laboratory and its latest certificate of analysis is published on its product page. The certificate reports what the laboratory measured on the sample it tested and nothing more. Specification rows marked as unconfirmed on a product page are exactly that, and are not warranted until the marking is removed.

We make no representation about the suitability of any material for any purpose beyond the specification stated on its certificate.

SBz Industries is a supplier of research chemicals. It is not a pharmacy, not a compounding pharmacy under section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and not an outsourcing facility under section 503B. It does not prepare, compound or dispense anything for a patient, and does not accept prescriptions.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are in United States dollars and are the prices shown at checkout at the time of order. Every line is priced by our server when the order is placed; a price shown in a stale browser tab is not a quote. Payment is due at the time of order by the methods offered at checkout. An order is not confirmed until payment is received and verified.

6. Shipping

Orders ship to United States addresses only, tracked, in plain outer packaging. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier accepts the parcel. Details are in the shipping policy.

7. Returns, refunds and replacements

Because these materials are sensitive to handling and cannot be verified after they leave our custody, opened, reconstituted or used material cannot be returned. Material that arrives damaged, incorrect, or not matching its certificate is replaced or refunded as set out in the refund policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the purchase, handling or use of any material, including any use contrary to these terms.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify SBz Industries against any claim, loss or cost arising from your handling or use of any material supplied, including any use in breach of these terms.

10. Your information

What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy. We collect what an order needs and no more.

11. Changes

These terms may change. The version in force for an order is the version published at the time the order is placed. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States. Any dispute is heard in the courts of that state.
