Every certificate we file names the lab that wrote it and carries that lab's own report number. This page is about them.
The laboratory
ILS Laboratories
ILS Laboratories is an independent analytical laboratory in San Diego, California, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 through the Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation programme. SBz Industries submits a sample of each compound to them. They analyse it, issue a numbered certificate, and keep their own copy that anyone can check against ours.
They are not a supplier, a partner or a subsidiary. They are paid to measure, and what they measure is what we publish, whether or not we like the number. Material that fails does not get a certificate on this site, and it does not enter stock.
On every certificate
What the lab reports
- Purity
- Reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at 214 nm, reported as the target peak as a share of all peptide-related peaks. Specification at or above 95 percent; our certificates so far run from 97.4 to 99.94 percent.
- Identity
- Chromatographic retention time compared with a reference standard for the named compound. Reported as confirmed or not.
- Net peptide content
- The mass of peptide measured in the vial, reported alongside the labeled content. Report only, no pass or fail.
- Fentanyl screen
- Immunoassay at a 50 ng/mL cutoff. Reported as detected or not detected.
- Not on the certificate
- Sterility, endotoxin and heavy metals are not part of this panel and the certificate does not claim them. Mass spectrometry is not used for identity on these reports.
The product name, lot number and labeled content on a certificate are supplied by us and are not independently verified by the laboratory. The analytical results are theirs.

How to confirm a report with the lab

From the verify page or the archive. Every one is the laboratory's own PDF or image, not a transcription.

Find the code
The certificate number and an access code are printed in the header and again by the signature, next to a QR code.

Enter it at the laboratory
portal.ils-lab.com takes the access code, or scan the QR from your phone. The laboratory shows its own record.

Report number, compound, purity, date. If anything differs from what this site shows, tell us and trust the laboratory's copy.

Who is ILS Laboratories?
An independent analytical laboratory in San Diego, California, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 through PJLA. They test material submitted to them and report what they measured. They do not sell peptides and they are not part of SBz Industries.
What does the laboratory test?
Purity by reversed-phase HPLC at 214 nm, reported as area percent; identity by chromatographic retention time against a reference standard; net peptide content; and a fentanyl immunoassay screen. Each result is stated on the certificate with its specification and a pass or fail.
How do I check a certificate with the laboratory?
Every ILS certificate carries a certificate number, an access code and a QR code. Enter the code at portal.ils-lab.com, or scan the QR, and the laboratory shows you its own copy of the report. If theirs does not match ours, theirs is the one to believe.
What does the laboratory not verify?
The product name, the lot number and the labeled content on a certificate are supplied by the submitting party, which is us. The laboratory verifies what is in the vial it received. That is exactly why we name the lab and its report number on every certificate, so you can check the report with them.
