The Wolverine blend:
BPC-157 and TB-500 in one vial

Wolverine is a nickname, not a compound. It means two well-known peptides sold together. Here is what each one is, what has been studied, and the one experiment that put them side by side.

The short answer

Two peptides, one vial, one nickname

Wolverine is what sellers call a vial that holds two peptides together: BPC-157 and TB-500. It is a nickname, not a chemical name, the same way "GLOW" and "KLOW" are nicknames for bigger blends.

Because it is a nickname, there is no standard recipe. One seller's Wolverine can hold different amounts of each ingredient than another's. The label and the certificate tell you what is actually in the vial; the name does not.

Both ingredients have been studied mostly in rats. Only one published study has given them together, and it is below.

Ingredient by ingredient

What each one is, and what has been studied

With a link to every study. Notice what each was done in: cells in a dish, rats, or people.

BPC-157

What it is

A chain of 15 amino acids. The name stands for Body Protection Compound, and it was first described by researchers working with a protein from stomach juice. What is sold is entirely lab-made.

What has been studied

Mostly rats. The best-known tendon study, from the University of Zagreb in 2003, cut the Achilles tendon in rats and measured how the tissue looked and how much force it took to pull apart [1]. A 2025 review counted 36 published studies and found 35 were in animals or lab dishes [2]. A separate human paper followed two adults and tracked their blood tests [3].

TB-500

What it is

A short, lab-made piece of thymosin beta-4, a protein found in nearly every cell. Think of thymosin beta-4 as the whole book and TB-500 as one page copied out of it. Sellers do not all copy the same page, so check the certificate for the sequence.

What has been studied

The study most often cited is a 1999 National Institutes of Health paper on skin wounds in rats [4]. It used the full protein, not the TB-500 piece, a difference that gets skipped a lot. The 2026 study below tested TB-500 itself.

Reading the research

Before you believe a blend claim

Check whether the blend was ever tested. For Wolverine, it has not been, as a sold product. Every claim about it is borrowed from the single ingredients.

Check which molecule. The famous TB-500 study used a different, full-size protein.

Check what it was done in. Nearly everything here is in rats. A rat result is a lead, not a verdict.

For the lab

Blend or singles

A Wolverine vial puts both peptides in one place at $70. Buying them as singles, at $80 for one 10 mg vial of each, gives you control over exactly how much of each you have, which matters if the work needs one without the other. Both ship as freeze-dried powder; the reconstitution guide and calculator cover mixing.

Questions

Common questions

What is the Wolverine peptide?

A nickname for a blend of two peptides in one vial: BPC-157 and TB-500. It is not a single compound and not a chemical name.

What is in a Wolverine vial here?

BPC-157 and TB-500, 20 mg in total. The amount of each is on the label and the certificate. Other sellers use the same name with different amounts, so compare labels, not names.

Is Wolverine the same as GLOW?

No. GLOW is BPC-157 and TB-500 plus a third peptide, GHK-Cu. KLOW adds a fourth, KPV. Wolverine is only the first two.

Has anyone studied the blend?

Not as a sold blend. The closest is a 2026 rat study that gave BPC-157 and TB-500 together to one group of eight rats. In that study the pair did no better than either one alone.

Is it cheaper than buying the two separately?

One 10 mg vial each of BPC-157 and TB-500 costs $80 here. The Wolverine vial is $70.

What does research use only mean here?

The blend is sold for laboratory research and nothing else. It is not a drug, supplement or cosmetic, and it is not for human or veterinary use.
