ARA-290 vs BPC-157

Two signalling peptides compounds, compared by what each molecule is: class, length, mass, origin and what it binds, side by side. Nothing here compares what either one does.

Origin and target

Where each one comes from, and what it binds

ARA-290

Origin. An 11-residue peptide derived from the helix B domain of erythropoietin.

Target. Described in the literature as a ligand of the innate repair receptor, a heteromer distinct from the classical EPO receptor.

Full reference

BPC-157

Origin. A synthetic 15-residue sequence corresponding to a partial fragment of a protein isolated from gastric juice.

Target. No single receptor has been established for it in the literature. It is characterized structurally rather than by a defined binding partner.

Handling

The same for both

Both ship as freeze-dried powder, both mix with bacteriostatic water the same way, and both are stored at minus 20 C out of the light until then. What differs is which breakdown route each sequence is prone to, and the stability guide shows how to read that from the amino acids.

Documentation

Both tested, both certificates published

Whichever you order, the latest lab certificate is on its product page.
