Selank
What the molecule is, where the sequence comes from, and what it binds. This page does not describe what Selank does.
Structure
What Selank is
Origin. A synthetic analog of tuftsin, a naturally occurring tetrapeptide, extended with a proline-glycine-proline tail.
Molecular target. Built on the tuftsin sequence with the same C-terminal stabilizing extension used in Semax.
Both statements are facts about the molecule and can be checked against any reference database. Neither is a statement about an outcome, and this page makes none.

Grouped by structure
Signalling peptides
Short sequences that bind a receptor or a partner protein. Grouped by what the molecule is and what it binds, not by what anyone intends to do with it.
Compounds on this site are grouped by what the molecule is, not by what anyone intends to do with it. Selank sits with 10 other compounds in this group because of its structure and its target, and for no other reason.
Compared side by side: Selank vs Semax and PT-141 vs Selank.
